The Carey Musical Theatre Company (CMTC) is a school-affiliated body responsible for putting on the school musical production each year.
It is a body of parents, staff and past students who collaborate to make the quality of the musical as high as possible, and to make the experience for the students involved as positive and beneficial as possible.
The 2009 School Musical, Calamity Jane, was a great success. The CMTC would like to thank those who were involved and those who came along to support the students - it was a fantastic season and an appropriate way to mark the 25th anniversary of musical theatre at Carey.
David Crawshaw has announced his retirement as Director of the School musical after 25 shows (19 as Director). The Principal has announced that Tim Schwerdt will be the Director for the 2010 season. Welcome aboard, Tim!
