Victoria Blakston – T.I.C Softball & 1sts Coach
I have played softball for 22 years for the Glen Waverley Club, represented Victoria on 3 occasions, and was selected in the Australian University Games “All-Star” team whilst representing Monash University. I also played baseball for MCC based at Surrey Park for three seasons.
Jennifer Murray – Assistant Coach – 1sts
I have represented Canada in soccer and played softball and basketball for British Columbia (in Canada) and rowed for the University of Victoria. My interests include cycling, and triathlons. I completed my 3rd “Around the Bay in a day” cycling event in October 2007.
Heather Webb – Junior A Coach
I started playing softball at the age of 11 in Queensland. Since then I have played for numerous representative sides both in Queensland and Victoria and at the Glen Waverley club. I thoroughly enjoy helping develop people’s softball skills. Currently I am also a student at Monash University completing a degree in commerce.
Steph Davis – Senior Players Co-Ordinator
I have been playing Softball for 12 years and I am currently a member of the VIS Softball Squad. I have Represented Victoria from U/16 to U/23 level. I currently have a level 2 Softball Coaching Accreditation and a Level 1 Softball Umpiring Accreditation. I have coached softball at club level for 5 years ranging from U/12 to U/18 level.
Amy Borbiro – Junior Players Co-Ordinator
Hi everyone, I am thrilled to be returning to Carey to co-ordinate Junior Softball in 2008. I am looking forward to helping the players reach their goals and aspirations for the season. From my previous experience at Carey Softball, the junior players have shown the right balance of raw talent and determination to achieve big things, and have a fun time along the way.
